I read my first Harry Potter book when I was 12。 At 24 I still love the series and the characters as much as I used to。 At that time it gave me an escape, an escape to a beautiful magical world。 And now it just adds nostalgia to all those lovely feelings。 As much as I hate the writer now I can never thank her enough for creating this beautiful world。 HP series will always be close to my heart。 And I'll just keep reading it as long as I live 🤩 I read my first Harry Potter book when I was 12。 At 24 I still love the series and the characters as much as I used to。 At that time it gave me an escape, an escape to a beautiful magical world。 And now it just adds nostalgia to all those lovely feelings。 As much as I hate the writer now I can never thank her enough for creating this beautiful world。 HP series will always be close to my heart。 And I'll just keep reading it as long as I live 🤩 。。。more

I read these when I was younger but I felt like I should write a review because as much as I don't like JK Rowling these are a literary masterpieces。 it took me for ever to read these because I started them very young and I used to be a slow reader。 I feel like everyone should read these books at least once in their life because if you haven't can you really call yourself a bookworm。 I read these when I was younger but I felt like I should write a review because as much as I don't like JK Rowling these are a literary masterpieces。 it took me for ever to read these because I started them very young and I used to be a slow reader。 I feel like everyone should read these books at least once in their life because if you haven't can you really call yourself a bookworm。 。。。more

These books were the first series that got me HOOKED and have helped hook many readers。

I first read these books in my teens and I loved them。 However I have now read them for a second time recently in my mid-twenties and have realised they are incredibly problematic。 There are many YA book series out there with far better magic systems, character development and plots which also highlights and handles the issues of racism between magic/non-magic/different races maturely and appropriately (unlike HP)。 This is a book series which is supposed to be about magic, but isn't really about I first read these books in my teens and I loved them。 However I have now read them for a second time recently in my mid-twenties and have realised they are incredibly problematic。 There are many YA book series out there with far better magic systems, character development and plots which also highlights and handles the issues of racism between magic/non-magic/different races maturely and appropriately (unlike HP)。 This is a book series which is supposed to be about magic, but isn't really about magic and is instead about teen dramas between friends that don’t even like each other。 Harry himself is a very unlikable problematic character which makes it very difficult to read the final few books。 The magic system is filled with many inconsistencies and plot holes - Felix Felis would have solved everything。 If you like to read about an egotistical character with a hero complex who simply can't do what he is told and consistently puts himself and other people in grave danger for 7 books, then this series is right for you。 。。。more

I read all of these in paperback as they were released and I find the memory to of them melding together。 Very consistent, strong, and imaginative writing that kept me interested every chapter throughout the whole series。 Every description of things and places felt more real than their movie counterparts and I have a greater appreciation for the Harry Potter experience from the books。 Definitely worth the time investment。

My Harry Potter phase came later compared to others。 I just finished reading all 7 books within three months while in quarantine and I really think it saved my life。 I didn't go to school during this time as I took a break because of COVID, and it really got me back into reading。 This series was first on my list to get back on track to read often。 And when I tell you I am obsessed, I really mean it。 The world just made me feel so included even though now that I'm deep in the fandom and some of t My Harry Potter phase came later compared to others。 I just finished reading all 7 books within three months while in quarantine and I really think it saved my life。 I didn't go to school during this time as I took a break because of COVID, and it really got me back into reading。 This series was first on my list to get back on track to read often。 And when I tell you I am obsessed, I really mean it。 The world just made me feel so included even though now that I'm deep in the fandom and some of the parts of the books have plot holes in them, but they brought me immense joy that I never had when I read when I was younger。 These novels will be my road to loving to read again and I will forever be grateful for them because of that and now am on a path to read every day。 I'm gonna try to re-read these at least every year during the winter season because of the vibe they give off while watching the movies as well。If anyone would like to discuss these novels, please hit me up because I know no one my age now who would want to talk about these for longer than 10minutes! 。。。more

I feel so nostalgic when reading the Harry Potter books! I’m totally in awe of the world JK Rowling created。 This series is made for those who love to obsess over every little detail! Each book is better than the last。 My top 5 favourite moments! 5。 Snape and Lily’s friendship。 There is something endearing about Snape camping outside Gryffindor towel to apologise to Lily。 4。 Harry obsessing over Ginny!! It was very sweet and VERY Ron and Hermione!!1。 The third Triwizard Tournament task。 Families are invited to watch the last task and Harry believes no one will come for him。 But when he enters the room he sees Mr。 & Mrs。 Weasley! These books were amazing, from the characters, to the plot。 Although I have individual ratings of each book this is my overall opinion of the entire series。 With these books I was able to get away from the big real world for awhile and experience an amazing journey。

I wish Rowling wouldn't have started spewing her transphobia over the world, because this is such an amazing universe。 It does inspire a bit of narcissism though, at least in me (everything centered on Harry)。 But still a wonderful world。 I wish Rowling wouldn't have started spewing her transphobia over the world, because this is such an amazing universe。 It does inspire a bit of narcissism though, at least in me (everything centered on Harry)。 But still a wonderful world。 。。。more

Harry Potter- A Worthwhile Read or Overrated? The Harry Potter series is one of the most famous book series ever written。 Firstly, if you are a parent who is not sure whether these books are suitable for your child, according to me, these series are suitable for any child above 9 years of age。 The great thing about this series is that it is not for a specific age category。 No matter your age, be it a teenager or a child or an adult, this book series sucks you in right from the first page。The Plot Harry Potter- A Worthwhile Read or Overrated? The Harry Potter series is one of the most famous book series ever written。 Firstly, if you are a parent who is not sure whether these books are suitable for your child, according to me, these series are suitable for any child above 9 years of age。 The great thing about this series is that it is not for a specific age category。 No matter your age, be it a teenager or a child or an adult, this book series sucks you in right from the first page。The Plot/ SummaryThe first book of the series is when Harry is 11 years of age and is suddenly thrust into a world full of magic。 But more than that, a world away from his relatives who had always been horrible to him, a world where he found friendship, love, enemies and a mission。Each book of this series follows Harry as he begins a new year at Hogwards, where he learns how to be a wizard。 This compelling read is full of everything you want and look for it a book。Why you should read this book?*This book is full of the qualities of friendship, love, sacrifice, family, humor, courage and so much more。*What’s so great about this book is that the hero, Harry Potter does not defeat the antagonist alone。 In fact, it would have been impossible for Harry to win without his friends。*If you are a tween or a teenager reading this, this book will be your guide for learning how to not be so awkward。 You may relate to the know-it-all Hermione Granger or the nervous, slightly chubby Neville Longbottom or the red-haired, gangly, awkward Ron Weasley or of ‘course, Harry Potter。 This book shows you its okay to be weird and gives you the confidence you need to act like yourself through the character’s mishaps and awkward moments that just make you laugh out loud。*It makes you cry。 The best kinds of books are those that make you feel every emotion the character’s going through, the ones in which you do not even realize you are crying because you are so invested in the story。*This series keeps you waiting for more。 You can never predict what’s going to happen next and believe me, it keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire book。CriticismsThe only criticism I have in this series is the ending。 While it is a complete ending, it leaves us, the readers, wanting more。 The deaths of a few of our favorite characters was never given closure and we will never know what their wills were or how the characters dealt with their losses。 Saying that, I don’t think you can find many books as good as this series and I strongly urge you to read it。Let me know how you liked the Harry Potter series and if you agree with my opinions!” My workout is reading in bed until my arms hurt。” 。。。more
